Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Environmental Scientist with Agilus in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Lead vital Stage I & II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation programs while engaging with clients.

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Environmental Scientist who will oversee environmental projects in the oil and gas sector. This role demands expertise in environmental regulations, in-depth knowledge of site assessment, and effective remediation strategies. You will mentor field teams and ensure high standards of safety and project delivery across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Stage I & II ESAs and remediation programs

• Review and approve technical reports for compliance

• Develop creative remediation strategies for complex sites

• Analyze soil and groundwater data for effective decision-making

• Mentor field teams on execution and safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field

• Professional designation in BC (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo.)

• 8+ years of environmental experience, focusing on ESAs

• Strong knowledge of BC environmental regulations

• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills
