Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management team. In this role you will manage risk and closure of contaminated sites, design and oversee field work for monitoring, investigation, and remediation of sites impacted by hydrocarbons, fertilizers, metals, and prepare technical reports. You will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, performance, health, and safety plans, and leading a client‑specific delivery team within Canada.
Responsibilities- Design and oversee field work related to monitoring, investigating, and remediating contaminated sites.
- Coordinate project schedules and objectives, monitoring performance and health.
- Review and enhance project health and safety plans in accordance with Zero Harm policy and rigorous HSE standards.
- Lead client‑specific delivery teams (10‑20 members) and collaborate with the broader RPM group.
- Engage with the Practice Area Network (PAN) to resolve complex technical issues.
- Lead extensive environmental projects across Western and Northern Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Professional designation is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project management; environmental industry experience is an asset.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience delivering high‑quality technical reports on schedule.
- Health and safety training related to the oil and gas industry is an asset.
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $104,100 – $138,000
- MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
Final salary awarded may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
