Position: Gas Well Field Operator Role
Location: dawson creek

Drive efficient gas production as a Field Operator with Ovintiv, supporting the Dawson North field. Utilize your knowledge in well optimization and pipeline maintenance to excel in this full-time position.
This role demands a commitment of 10-hour shifts on an 8 on – 6 off schedule. Seeking candidates with over five years of experience in gas well operations, familiarity with plunger lift systems, and SCADA systems are essential for monitoring performance. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills will contribute greatly to the team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety assessments and manage emergency responses

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Operate equipment efficiently and troubleshoot issues

• Maintain effective communication across work groups

• Document maintenance and track performance indicators
Requirements:

• 5+ years in gas well operations required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

• Experience with gas lift equipment preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Must reside within an hour of Farmington
