Take charge of contaminated site projects with Ecocan Environmental as an Environmental Specialist in Northeast BC. This hybrid role involves managing remediation initiatives and ensuring project success through expert oversight.
Ecocan Environmental seeks an experienced Environmental Professional for a contract position. You will direct reclamation and remediation projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities include work planning, cost estimation, and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies while mentoring junior team members to uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scoping and project close-out for contaminated sites

• Prepare work plans and estimate costs for projects

• Manage field programs for remediation and reclamation

• Review and sign technical reports in compliance with standards

• Serve as a primary contact for clients and regulators
Requirements:

• P.Ag. or R.P.Bio. designation in good standing in BC

• Proven experience in reclamation and remediation initiatives

• Strong leadership in multidisciplinary team settings

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills

• Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility
