As a Planner I, you will work closely with the Planning Manager to handle complex applications and provide technical analysis for zoning bylaw amendments. You'll coordinate public information meetings and engage with stakeholders, contributing significantly to regional planning projects. Candidates should possess relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee processing of development permits and variances

• Support Planning Technologist with applications

• Prepare reports regarding development plans

• Coordinate public engagement activities for projects

• Conduct research for planning bylaws and amendments

Requirements:

• Degree in planning, geography or related field

• 2 years of relevant technical planning experience

• Municipal experience considered an asset

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License

• Knowledge of planning principles and local regulations
