Position: Field-Based Environmental Monitor Position

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this position requires a thorough understanding of environmental regulations pertinent to pipeline and linear infrastructure development. You will focus on compliance with Environmental Protection Plans and monitoring sensitive environmental features. Your work will involve daily inspections, assessing mitigation measures, and collaborating with various teams to uphold project commitments and ecological integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure environmental compliance through daily inspections

• Protect sensitive features such as wildlife habitats

• Monitor erosion control and spill response practices

• Document findings in detailed inspection reports

• Provide support for audits and environmental checks

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Environmental Sciences or related fields

• Minimum of 2 years in environmental monitoring

• Knowledge of BC and Alberta regulations

• Strong reporting and communication abilities

• Valid driver's license for traveling to sites
