Join our team as a 4th Class Power Engineer, overseeing the Energy, Drying, and WESP Systems with a focus on safety and operational efficiency. This role involves performing essential maintenance and operating equipment under regulatory standards.

In this position, you will utilize your Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate to ensure smooth operations of critical systems. Your duties will include performing maintenance tasks, managing equipment isolation, and maintaining accurate reports. You will also assist the Energy Operator and contribute to environmental control and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance duties, including filter changes and equipment blow down

• Manage lock out procedures with equipment isolation

• Maintain clean Energy, Drying, and WESP System areas

• Accurately log reports and data for monitoring and reporting

• Support control room operations as necessary

Requirements:

• Physical fitness to carry up to 50 lbs

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience

• Proficient in computer and software use

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate from Technical Safety BC
