The Opportunity:

Make your mark while you grow your career! As an Integrity Engineer, you will interface closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Technical Safety Engineering and Safety groups, gaining exposure to all technical elements of Asset Integrity for pipelines. Our Asset Integrity Team implements a wide variety of inspection, repair, risk assessment, and corrosion management activities to ensure that our Asset Integrity programs are executed with optimal effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities:

Apply risk-based assessment methodologies to maintain company's assets at acceptable safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, and economic risk levels.
Collaborate with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Management for comprehensive asset reviews and multiyear Risk Management Plans, supporting regional development initiatives.
Develop and oversee approval of annual pipeline integrity budgets, engaging internal stakeholders and Management within designated geographic areas.
Coordinate with vendors to establish and endorse chemical corrosion mitigation programs for various dynamic assets, including the Montney drilling program.
Formulate recommendations for inspecting, repairing, or replacing high-risk pipelines to ensure operational reliability, facilitating budgeting, scoping, and execution in collaboration with stakeholders.
Analyze company's inspection, monitoring, and sampling data to trend and model asset corrosion rates, enabling performance assessment and proactive identification of end-of-life assets.
Draft, review, and approve technical Engineering Assessments as stipulated by CSA Z662 standards.
Support incident investigations and root cause analyses, providing technical recommendations to mitigate future risks, alongside the area stakeholder team.
What You Bring to the Role:
5+ years Pipeline Integrity experience, especially in upstream oil & gas.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from recognized University, registered Professional Engineer with APEGA (or eligible).
NACE/AMPP or API Certifications advantageous.
Proficient in pipeline codes & standards: CSA Z662, provincial & federal directives.
Skilled in pipeline inspection, maintenance coordination, and software like Microsoft Office Suite and integrity management systems (e.g., Accumap, Maxi-Trak, Abacus, Maximo)
