Dawson Creek Bylaw Enforcement Supervisor

Location: Dawson Creek

Enhance community well-being as the Bylaw Enforcement Supervisor in Dawson Creek. This full-time role centers on leadership and effective enforcement of municipal regulations.

Reporting to the Director of Development Services, you will coordinate enforcement efforts and mentor your team of Bylaw Enforcement Officers. Your focus will be on applying and interpreting municipal bylaws, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance through collaborative outreach with community partners to promote safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide the Bylaw Enforcement Officers

• Conduct bylaw investigations and enforce municipal regulations

• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with bylaws

• Develop procedures for effective enforcement strategies

• Lead public education efforts promoting bylaw awareness

Requirements:

• Bylaw Compliance and Enforcement Level 2 certification

• Completed Grade 12 with related field training

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence

• Expertise in municipal enforcement and investigative practices

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Lead community efforts in bylaw enforcement and promote public safety in Dawson Creek.
