Position: Child and Youth Clinical Counsellor Role

As part of the Integrated Child and Youth team, you will support a variety of educational environments, providing clinical counselling and leading mental health initiatives.

Your role will require in-depth knowledge of psychosocial development and an ability to connect with diverse populations, including Indigenous youth, to promote healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive counselling and mental health services

• Lead crisis intervention strategies and programs

• Cultivate partnerships with education and community agencies

• Mentor other clinicians and manage team dynamics

• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Master's degree required in counselling or related fields

• Registered professional with BCACC or BCCSW

• At least 3-5 years of direct counselling experience

• Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally competent practices

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
