Transform lives as an Outreach Social Worker with Northern Health, specializing in substance use support in Dawson Creek. Deliver targeted intervention and rehabilitation services.

In this role, you'll work under the guidance of the Team Lead within an interdisciplinary framework, addressing substance use through direct client engagement and support. Your efforts will focus on delivering assessment processes, harm reduction, and recovery consultation to clients and their families. Travel is a part of this position to enhance outreach effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of client needs

• Implement effective harm reduction strategies

• Provide outreach and educational initiatives

• Manage detoxification and recovery consultation processes

Requirements:

• Social Work degree or equivalent qualifications

• Strong background in mental health and substance use recovery

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
