In this position, you will be a key member of the Community and Long-Term Care Services team, providing comprehensive occupational therapy. Your responsibilities will involve assessment, treatment, and collaborative planning aimed at fostering clients' independence and health outcomes. You will also guide rehabilitation assistants in therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement client-centric therapy techniques

• Develop and execute individualized care strategies

• Teach family members and clients about therapeutic practices

• Ensure collaboration with an interdisciplinary team

• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized occupational therapy program

• Active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

• Valid BC Driver’s license

• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities

• Experience in patient-focused healthcare environments
