Join the vital role of Citizenship Navigator, supporting applicants during their citizenship journey. This position focuses on application guidance and document retrieval with empathy.
As a Citizenship Navigator, you'll be the first contact for applicants seeking personal assistance. The role requires evaluating applications and helping individuals secure essential documents. Strong communication skills are essential to guide applicants effectively through their citizenship process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review citizenship applications and associated documentation
• Assist applicants in obtaining primary source documents
• Communicate through multiple channels: email, phone, and in-person
• Conduct final reviews to elevate completed applications
• Maintain applicant profiles in the CRM system
Requirements:
• Diploma in archive management or related fields
• At least three years of experience in social services
• Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
• Strong communication skills and tech-savvy
• Knowledge of Métis contributions in B.C.
Support individuals to achieve their citizenship goals with compassion and expertise.
