Handyperson, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Maintenance Worker

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances.
• Perform safety and security checks.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.

• Industrial vacuum cleaners and power sweepers.
• Power tools.
• Power lawn mowers.
• Personal safety equipment: steel‑toed safety boots and other safety gear.

• Criminal record check required.

Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Physically demanding work involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Dependability, reliability, and organizational skills.
