On-Call Custodian

Position: On-Call Custodian for Northern Lights College
Support cleanliness as an on-call Custodian at Northern Lights College's Fort St. John campus. Manage cleaning duties, maintaining sanitary spaces during relief shifts of up to 7 hours.

We are currently looking for an on-call Custodian to provide janitorial support when needed. Cover shifts during vacations and sick leave while executing tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning floors, and restocking. The job demands physical effort, including using various cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning across campus buildings and student housing

• Wash and maintain floors to ensure safety

• Assist in washing windows and carpets

• Empty bins and ensure cleanliness in all areas

• Restock supplies and support events as required

Requirements:

• Experience or training in custodial services preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Current driver's license is beneficial

• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks

Contribute to the health and safety at Northern Lights College as an essential member of our cleaning staff.
