Position: Fort St. John Facilities Maintenance Staff
Take on the role of Facilities Labourer in Fort St. John with the Community Services Department, focusing on assorted maintenance tasks and the custodial care of public facilities. This position offers a blend of operational duties and public interaction.

As a Facilities Labourer, you will work in the Facilities Department attending to maintenance, event preparations, and ensuring the cleanliness of facilities.

This role offers a dynamic work environment with shifts during weekends and evenings, making it ideal for flexible workers who aim to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct facility maintenance, including ice plant operations

• Perform custodial responsibilities like floor care and sanitation

• Prepare facilities for events by setting up and taking down equipment

• Manage ice and snow removal for safety

• Respond to public inquiries and enforce facility rules

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Certification in Refrigeration Safety Awareness

• Valid BC Driver’s License necessary

• Ability to lift weights of up to 25 kg

• Weekend and evening shift flexibility required

Contribute to the safe and enjoyable use of Fort St. John's recreation facilities as a key member of the maintenance team.
