Position: Casual Labourer for School District
Become a vital part of grounds maintenance as a Casual Labourer for the School District. This role focuses on repairs, equipment upkeep, and emergency responses to ensure safe, functional facilities.

Reporting to the Operation Manager, you will handle repairs and maintenance for District grounds and facilities. With a focus on teamwork and safety, you will operate equipment, manage work priorities, and respond to urgent calls effectively. This position offers a starting salary of $26.63/hr and is set for an unpredictable schedule as needed throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain fences, playgrounds, and sidewalks

• Safely operate grounds maintenance equipment

• Deliver furniture and supplies based on work orders

• Organize work assignments with prioritization

• Ensure safety protocols are followed on site

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education or equivalent

• 1 year experience in maintenance preferred

• Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

• WHMIS Certification completion required
