Position: Maintenance Worker at The Salvation Army
Elevate facility upkeep by joining The Salvation Army as a Maintenance Worker. This hands-on role focuses on equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and ensures safety protocols are followed.

In this position, you’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance under the supervision of the Managing Director. Key responsibilities include minor repairs on utilities, conducting safety inspections, and managing maintenance logs. Engage with contractors and ensure all equipment is functioning properly to maintain optimal facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems

• Perform minor renovations including plumbing and electrical work

• Conduct troubleshooting and oversee contractor quality

• Log maintenance activities and monitor supplies

• Ensure upkeep of indoor and outdoor facility areas

Requirements:

• High School diploma completion

• 1-2 years of related maintenance experience

• WHMIS training and valid BC driver’s license

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage safety protocols efficiently
