Position: Universal Group Lane Control Technician

As an LCT, you will take charge of traffic control measures to uphold the safety of both public and road workers. Engaging in setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic control systems will be your primary responsibility. Collaborate with contractors and attend meetings to discuss hazards while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup traffic control zones and signage accurately

• Direct traffic with clear and effective signals

• Monitor and revise control measures as needed

• Conduct compliance checks on safety protocols

• Manage traffic for special events when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Lane Closure Technician

• Valid TCP certification from WorkSafeBC

• Clean driving license required

• Good smartphone proficiency for work management

• Strong understanding of traffic management regulations
