Shop Hand​/Wash Bay Attendant

We are looking for a Shop Hand / Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with equipment. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and operational equipment while supporting shop activities.

• Full-time, with hours depending on operational needs.
• Work may include evenings and weekends when required.
• Combination of indoor and outdoor tasks.

Fort St. John, BC

• Operate wash bay equipment to clean trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
• Assist mechanics with parts cleaning, tool organization, and basic shop duties.
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Perform basic inspections on equipment to confirm readiness after cleaning.
• Handle pressure washing, degreasing, and other cleaning procedures safely.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, or safety incidents promptly.
• Support shop operations as needed, including inventory handling and equipment movement.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with all company safety standards.

• Previous experience in a shop, wash bay, or equipment cleaning role is an asset but not required.
• Physically fit, able to handle repetitive tasks, lifting, and outdoor work in varying conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred.
  Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, CSTS, First Aid) are an asset.
• Hourly Wage: $18 – $23 per hour, depending on experience.
