General Machinist in Construction

We are looking for a General Machinist with a trades certificate or relevant experience. Key skills include the ability to read engineering drawings and operate CNC machines. Your expertise in maintaining calibration of measuring tools and performing repairs will be highly valued in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

• Maintain and repair machine tools and precision instruments

• Document deviations from specifications and maintain inspection records

• Set up and operate a range of conventional and CNC machine tools

Requirements:

• Trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years of relevant machinist experience

• Valid driver’s license and own transportation

• Ability to lift and handle weight up to 30 lbs

• Criminal record and driving record checks required
