Corporate Communications Specialist at NLC

Northern Lights College seeks a Corporate Communications Specialist to enhance brand messaging and drive communication initiatives. This role requires creativity in content creation and strong collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the specialist will craft and edit written content in alignment with company guidelines. You will utilize your photography skills to bolster digital narratives and connect effectively with diverse internal and external audiences. The position is temporary, filling in while the incumbent is away, and involves managing communications across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit digital and print materials

• Produce signage, reports, press releases, and advertisements

• Collaborate with team members on communication strategies

• Maintain and improve public-facing websites and intranet

• Support strategic priorities through effective messaging

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Minimum two years of communications experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Word Press

• Strong writing and proofreading capabilities

• Valid driver's license required
