Position: Compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse at Northern Health
Location: Dawson Creek

Join Northern Health in Dawson Creek as a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse focusing on Med Surg patient care. Deliver dedicated nursing service in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will enhance patient care by providing physical, spiritual, and psychological support. You'll implement care plans, document patient progress, and advocate for their needs. This role requires you to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team while managing care for diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients and residents

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Conduct assessments and document patient information

• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional needs

• Participate in meetings and assist with training new staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Current basic cardiac life support certification

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members

• Willingness to work rotating shifts
