Your role as a Registered Nurse will revolve around critical patient assessments and innovative nursing care.
In this 115-bed long-term care facility, you will oversee nursing practices, collaborating with various healthcare professionals. Emphasizing a resident-centered approach, you will advocate for their needs while promoting health and well-being. You'll also ensure high standards of care through effective leadership and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead resident assessments and develop care plans
• Coordinate nursing interventions and quality assurance
• Facilitate effective interdisciplinary team communications
• Advocate for resident care and social justice
• Provide direct care as needed to residents
Requirements:
• Active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Additional training in gerontology is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources
• Strong interactive and critical reasoning skills
• Capability to manage the physical demands of the role
