In this position, you will utilize your clinical expertise to guide fellow nurses while adhering to the standards of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. With a focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, your leadership will significantly impact resident and family experiences. This position requires strong nursing skills and compassion in a long-term care context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor nursing staff while providing clinical guidance
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of resident needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for care delivery
• Develop and evaluate individual care plans for residents
• Facilitate communication between residents and their families
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in long term care
• Valid RN or RPN certification
• Strong leadership and initiative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work rotating shifts
Leverage your clinical experience and leadership in a meaningful way as a mentor in long term care.
