About the Role

Do you have a passion for nursing? We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

• Identify, plan, compile and deliver training sessions for staff to assist them in meeting their key competencies in compliance with scope.
• Compile, implement and evaluate general and unit‑specific orientation and education programs for the staff.
• Facilitate the development and ongoing maintenance of the department’s preceptorship/mentorship programs.
• Participate in the ongoing review and revision of patient care standards, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate in‑service programs aimed at meeting the continuing educational needs of staff.

Successful applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience on a maternity/LDR unit within the last 5 years.

Wednesday - Thursday with alternate Fridays, Days, 08:00 to 16:00
