Licensed Practical Nurse

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse at Northern Health
Northern Health is looking for a passionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate care at Fort St. John Hospital. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient needs and develop care plans.

As a key member of our healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse will deliver nursing care to patients while adhering to established policies and the standards set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and be an advocate for patients, ensuring their physical and psychological needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients/residents

• Assist in developing and evaluating care plans

• Conduct patient assessments and document care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Participate in care conferences and staff orientation

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Registration with BCCNM as a practicing LPN

• Current cardiac life support certification

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
