Position Summary

Join the dedicated nursing team at Fort St. John Hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse. Provide compassionate care in a patient-centered setting, working rotating shifts both day and night. As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will collaborate with an interprofessional team to assess, plan, and deliver specialized nursing care to patients with complex health conditions.

This role requires a strong foundation in nursing science, effective communication skills, and the ability to prioritize patient needs, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

• Assess and evaluate patient health and care needs
• Collaborate with medical staff for integrated patient care
• Initiate and manage intravenous therapy
• Provide emergency care and make clinical decisions
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress

• Registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Completion of a specialty program in ICU nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Solid cardiac monitoring skills
