Compassionate Registered Nurse Position

Make a difference as a Registered Nurse with Northern Health in Fort St. John, focusing on youth mental health. Your compassionate care will support at-risk individuals within their communities.

As a part of a multidisciplinary team, you will apply your nursing skills to provide targeted mental health and substance use services to youth. This position requires strong assessment and communication skills, along with a commitment to improving client outcomes through collaboration with families and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete initial and ongoing assessments of youth

• Provide personalized clinical nursing care

• Collaborate with teams for comprehensive youth support

• Educate the community about mental health issues

• Support program evaluation and planning initiatives

Requirements:

• RN graduation from an accredited Nursing program

• Registration with the BCCNM is mandatory

• Minimum two years of related psychiatric experience

• Current CPR certification (Level

C)

• Valid BC Driver's license for accessing community settings
