Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care throughout the perioperative continuum

• Collaborate with interprofessional teams in surgical settings

• Conduct patient assessments and initiate Intravenous Therapy (IV)

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff

• Respond to emergency situations and recognize acuity changes

Requirements:

• Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Completion of a recognized perioperative specialty program

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Strong clinical proficiency and organization skills
