Shift: 12 Hours Day

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team.

The ER RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely, and compassionate care to patients in urgent and emergent situations, often under pressure.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to prioritize effectively, and excellent communication skills.

• Triage patients upon arrival based on acuity and clinical urgency.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond quickly to critical situations such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and other medical emergencies.
• Monitor vital signs, initiate IV therapy, wound care, and assist in procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and stabilize patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and discharge plans.
• Document all care provided accurately and timely using electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Maintain infection control standards and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in code blue and rapid response team activities when required.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing required.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• CTAS.
