Position: Access to Practical Nursing Instructor Role
Join Northern Lights College as a Practical Nursing Instructor in Fort St. John, BC, for a temporary part-time role. You'll engage with students and deliver APN 135, promoting nursing care skills.

As part of the Health Sciences Department, you provide instruction on Integrated Nursing Practice A, supporting students with clinical decision-making and assessments. This role integrates theoretical knowledge into practical experiences, fostering a collaborative learning environment to achieve excellence in nursing education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing course content and methods

• Facilitate student assessments in real-world scenarios

• Create effective learning environments using diverse strategies

• Work as part of the health sciences instructional team

• Encourage ethical nursing practices and student achievement

Requirements:

• Accredited Practical Nursing Diploma or BSN

• Active LPN, RPN, RN, or NP license in BC

• Minimum of 3-5 years recent nursing experience

• Coursework in Indigenous cultural safety

• Strong communication abilities in teaching
