Join Northern Health as a Registered Nurse specializing in inpatient substance use withdrawal at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. Deliver compassionate, recovery-oriented care in a supportive team environment.
This role involves providing holistic care in accordance with professional standards as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. As a key member of the Withdrawal Management Unit, you'll assess and monitor patients to create personalized care plans for managing withdrawal symptoms. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide person-centered care focused on recovery
• Assess and monitor patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
• Develop and implement individual care plans
• Support patients and families in the recovery process
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse licensure in British Columbia
• Experience in mental health or addiction nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Commitment to ethical nursing practices
