Perinatal Registered Nurse

Deliver compassionate perinatal nursing care at Fort St. John Hospital, applying obstetrical expertise across intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods. Work collaboratively within Northern Health’s patient and family centered care model.

As a Registered Nurse – Perinatal, you will provide direct care to obstetrical and other assigned patients. Under a Manager or designate, you will follow BCCNM professional standards and code of ethics. Your practice will draw on nursing science and related sciences and humanities.

• Assess obstetrical and assigned patients’ nursing care needs
• Plan direct care across perinatal periods
• Provide care during intra, postpartum, and antepartum periods
• Evaluate nursing care and patient responses
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team

• Registered Nurse qualification
• Practice aligned with BCCNM standards and ethics
• Knowledge of nursing science and related disciplines
