Nortech is seeking candidates to support fulltime work in the Fort St. John area. We are currently looking for NDT Radiography technician / EDO's
darkroom technicians

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
CGSB / CEDO certifications would be an asset but not required as we are willing to train
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional certification to MT, PT, or UT is an asset
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of NDT equipment

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee will also run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment.
