This exciting opportunity requires you to lead archaeological assessments and mentor field staff while adhering to high standards of cultural heritage protection. You will benefit from a strong foundation in archaeology and a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
Your role is pivotal in engaging with Indigenous communities and ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead archaeological assessments under BC Heritage Act guidelines
• Oversee technical documentation, project schedules, and deliverables
• Build strong client and Indigenous community partnerships
• Mentor field staff and promote company values
• Uphold safety and regulatory compliance in all projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology
• Field Director status (preferably in Forestry)
• Minimum of 3 years’ consulting and supervisory experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of BC environmental regulations
• Willingness to work in remote and challenging conditions
