Irwin’s Safety is seeking local candidates to fill the role of Confined Space Attendant. Successful applicants will perform vital monitoring duties, requiring a valid Confined Space Monitor certificate and a Spark Watch/Fire Watch certificate. Candidates must be able to work in various weather conditions and communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor hot work and handle fire extinguishers

• Document confined space activities for compliance

• Conduct air monitoring with gas detection equipment

• Participate in pre-job and daily tailgate meetings

• Communicate hazards to supervisors and respond to emergencies

Requirements:

• Valid Confined Space Monitor certificate

• Valid Spark Watch/Fire Watch certificate

• Local to Fort St. John area only

• Basic computer skills and personal cellphone

• Clean shaven for respiratory testing
