Position: Security and Maintenance Personnel Needed
Location: Dawson Creek

Northern Lights College is seeking dedicated Security and Maintenance personnel to ensure safety and maintain facilities on campus. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

As a member of the facilities team, you will play a crucial role in campus security by monitoring activity and offering support to both students and staff. The position involves minor maintenance tasks and operating relevant machinery. Candidates must demonstrate a supportive attitude and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access and ensure security of college facilities

• Patrol campus and observe activities

• Assist with direction and information for the public

• Perform minor maintenance and operate equipment

• Resolve conflicts with tact and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 and formal security training

• Valid BC security license and First Aid certification required

• Ability to work independently and lift up to 50 lbs

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• General maintenance experience preferred
