** A Day in the Life  of a Mechanic:
*** Maintenance or repairs of diesel, CNG, gas and electrically operated trucks as well as associated heavy duty equipment
* Using various power tools, hand instruments and cutting-edge equipment
* Completing daily reports, work orders and ordering necessary parts
* Planning and scheduling repairs in M5 planner and procure parts
* Assisting in the review of mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedule
** What’s

Required:

** Mechanics must have:
* Completion of a recognized Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship program and current certification as a Red Seal or B.C. Journeyperson.
* Valid Class 5 driver’s license; ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles safely.
* Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment, with strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards
* Exert physical effort including pushing, pulling, bending and lifting items up to 100 lbs.
