Join the BC Public Service as a Social Program Officer Assistant, serving in Dawson Creek or Fort St John with a hybrid work option. This role emphasizes teamwork and community impact.
As part of the Children & Family Development Ministry, you'll be instrumental in providing support for child protection efforts. Your experience in human services will guide you through varied daily responsibilities involving engagement with both clients and team members. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with child protection case management tasks
• Facilitate communication within the community and team
• Develop and maintain records for case files
• Prepare materials for meetings and report summaries
• Collaborate with professionals across various service sectors
Requirements:
• Secondary graduation plus training in human services
• 1-3 years of relevant operational experience
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
• Experience with MCFD systems is an asset
