Become a Citizenship Navigator, guiding applicants through the citizenship process. Support individuals with incomplete applications and help them obtain necessary documents in a compassionate manner.
In this role, Citizenship Navigators are the first point of contact for applicants seeking citizenship. Youll evaluate applications, assist with document retrieval, and provide important guidance throughout the process. Transparent communication, both verbally and in writing, will be crucial in this empathetic position, which requires a robust background in social services.
Key Responsibilities- Review citizenship applications thoroughly and evaluate documentation
- Assist applicants in acquiring primary source documents
- Communicate via email, phone, in-person, and virtually
- Conduct final reviews and elevate completed applications
- Maintain applicant profiles within the CRM system
- Diploma in archive management or related field
- Minimum three years of experience in social services
- Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Solid communication skills and tech-savvy
- Knowledge of Métis contributions in B.C.
