Position: Métis Justice Coordinator Role
Become a Provincial Justice Coordinator to aid Métis individuals navigating the justice system. This role focuses on managing large-scale initiatives and implementing trauma-informed support strategies for individuals facing legal challenges.

The Provincial Justice Coordinator works within the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, leading an access to justice initiative aimed at easing barriers for Métis communities. You will collaborate with MNBC agencies, manage intricate projects, and provide direct support by promoting cultural values. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to address complex justice matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage access to justice initiatives for Métis communities

• Foster relationships with MNBC partners and government agencies

• Provide individual support using trauma-informed approaches

• Maintain case files and assist with legal obligations

• Conduct research for organizational goal support

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in related fields preferred

• 5+ years in legal or social sector services

• Proficient communication about Indigenous perspectives

• Experience with vulnerable groups and trauma-informed care

• Class 5 driver’s license may be required
