Community Living Supervisor in Fort St John

Lead the Supported Independent Living program with the Fort St John Association for Community Living. This role focuses on comprehensive service delivery and staff mentorship for individuals with disabilities.

In this Supervisor position, you will oversee outreach operations, guiding staff and enhancing program effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include facilitating communication between clients, families, and community partners, alongside handling budget management and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, thereby driving the initiative towards impactful change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement training programs for direct support staff

• Chair and conduct staff meetings for service discussions

• Liaise between clients, families, and community organizations

• Prepare budget reports and manage financial compliance

• Provide on-call support as needed

Requirements:

• Degree in social service or similar field

• At least 3 years in social services program management

• Reliable vehicle and valid insurance

• Successful clearance of criminal record check

• Experience in community living preferred
