In this role, you will provide critical support for students struggling with various social and emotional challenges while working under the guidance of the Director of Instruction. Collaboration with teachers and counselors is essential to developing and implementing tailored programs. Your experience in crisis management and supportive counseling will be key as you engage with students and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in student placement and progress evaluations
• Help develop behavior management programs
• Provide crisis intervention and support
• Facilitate group counseling sessions
• Monitor student interactions and connections to services
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Two years of relevant coursework required
• Experience in working with youth with behavioral issues
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Must pass a Criminal Records Search
