Independent Living Support Worker - FSJACL

Become a Community Support Worker with the Fort St. John Association for Community Living, empowering adults with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on enhancing community inclusion and individual autonomy.

As a vital part of the Supported-Independent Living Program, you will provide flexible support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Responsibilities include organizing service hours, enhancing safety and self-determination skills, and fostering opportunities for community participation, aiming to improve overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design service schedules that align with client preferences

• Support skill development in safety and self-determination

Requirements:

• Class 5 Driver's license and dependable vehicle

• Successful criminal record check

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle diverse individual requirements

• Must be available for flexible scheduling
