We are currently seeking Drivers, Class 1 or 3, at our Dawson Creek, BC location. This role operates on a call-out basis, with our dispatch team keeping you busy!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Pressure Trucks, Hydrovacs, Combo Units, other Vacuum Trucks, and specialty tools, working alongside Labourers. You will spend 90% of your day outdoors, boots on the ground!
• Perform minor maintenance and checks on equipment
• Ensure safety for all team members and property
• Provide quality services to clients
• Collaborate as part of a team and follow supervision
• Leave the job site cleaner and safer than when you arrived, ensuring the job is done right
• Transport hoses, PPE, and tools to work locations
• Complete necessary paperwork for projects and jobs
• Focus on detail, work carefully, and prioritize safety and quality

Role Specifications:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the past 3 years
• Comfortable driving manual transmissions (10, 13-speed), capable of passing CEDA’s driver assessment
• Experience driving Pressure or Vacuum Trucks is an asset
• At least 1 year of operator experience in an industrial setting
• First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certifications are assets
• Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are assets; training can be provided
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test with a negative result

Skills:

• Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with manual transmissions
• Safety-conscious attitude towards people and equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 40 pounds
