Fort St John Class 1 Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to transport scrap metal to and from our facilities. With a focus on safety and customer service, you will carry out vehicle inspections and manage secure loading practices. Prior experience with self-loading cranes and a clean driving history are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build inspections of vehicles before and after trips

• Maintain professional communication with clients

• Implement safety practices throughout transportation

• Ensure proper load securement procedures are followed

• Execute Dispatch directives promptly and accurately

Requirements:

• Class 1 license with air brakes is mandatory

• 3-4 years of relevant driving experience required

• Roll-off and dump truck experience is preferred

• Experience with Hiab cranes is advantageous

• Ability to utilize thumb & bucket for occasional loading
