Position: Traffic Control Technician Ensuring Safety in Work Zones
Become a crucial Lane Closure Technician and ensure safety on roads while managing traffic control measures. You'll play a vital role in maintaining safe work zones and minimizing disruptions across various projects.

In this position, you will oversee the setup and maintenance of traffic control measures to protect workers and the public. Responsibilities include directing traffic control personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and adapting strategies based on work zone changes. Be prepared to handle multiple tasks while ensuring the safety of all road users and crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide traffic control personnel

• Set up and modify traffic control zones

• Provide clear signals for motorists

• Monitor worksites and adapt as necessary

• Conduct safety assessments and report hazards

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of LCT experience in BC

• Current TCP certification or equivalent

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

• Good understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations

• Effective communication and conflict management skills
