Rail Track Maintainer

Position: Full-Time Rail Track Maintainer Opportunity

This role includes the inspection, repair, and maintenance of railway tracks and related infrastructure. Ideal candidates are comfortable in changing weather conditions, physically fit, and committed to safety. You will play an essential role in supporting effective rail operations while working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair rails, ties, switches, and ballast

• Maintain track structure to meet safety standards

• Remove defective ties, spikes, and rails

• Correct track surface and alignment deviations

• Clear railway right-of-way of vegetation and debris

Requirements:

• Must reside and work in Canada

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Valid driver’s license necessary

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally

• Strong communication and teamwork skills needed
