Propane Delivery Driver

As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure Electronic and Daily Trips Log are up-to-date and submitted daily.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of TDG, WHIMIS and required trainings.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

• Valid Commercial Drivers license with airbrake endorsement / Class 3 License DZ.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane considered an asset.

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
